We kicked off the start of summer with a visit from our Alaska cousins! Liam, Emma and Lily as well as Nana, Pappy and Aunt Jenn came to Birmingham for a week long visit. My boys were so excited to spend so much time with their big cousins. They really look up to them and want to do just what they are doing! We only get to see them about twice a year since they live so far away. So a week of summer fun together was such a treat. There was lots of outdoor time, grilling out, playing at the park, swimming and just being kids!
Day one: having some grill out time at our house as well as all things that "go" on our driveway.
Will, Liam (9), Lilly (3), Logan and Emma (7)
Fun Uncle Andy and his bud Liam
Me with big girl Emma- how did you grow so fast?
The three year old trio...
Loving some time at the pool to cool off... already HOT this summer, especially to the Alaska crew!
Having fun at Homewood Park
Liam giving Will a scooter lesson- he loved it!
Sweet Ellie (Ellie-belly) as my boys like to call her) enjoying a little shade
The "big kids" Liam and Emma took turns spending the night with us and Graham and Ellie. Our slumber party with Liam, being so sweet to read a bedtime story to L and W. The boys LOVED having each of their big cousins spend the night "right next door" in our guest room.
Will loves his cousin Lilly
All the cousins (except baby Ryleigh)
Summer time treats!
Story time with Nana in Aunt Shell's backyard
Catching fire-flies!! Thanks for the bug-catchers Aunt Shelli!
Uncle Mike helping Will with his fire-flies
We had so much fun during our week with the cousins! It really feels like summer now. Thanks to Nana and Pappy for helping with all the kids and making the logistics work with our large crew. We look forward to our next visit. Logan and Will can't wait to have you all back...
