The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17

One Week Old

Little man is one week old already! We're adjusting to being home as a family of five! Caleb is a sweet, sleepy baby who likes to eat frequently and snuggle a lot.  He's not really phased by his rambunctious brothers who seem to have two settings: off and wide open. I feel like a broken record reminding them not to be in his face, they just love him so much and want to smother him with kisses.
Grammie has been here with us since we got home helping to ease our transition.  It has been an interesting adjustment as we all figure out a new normal. Logan and Will love being big brothers, but you can tell they are a little unsure of the changes taking place. The boys are able to attend their first VBS at our old church, MBCC.  They are loving it and it is a great outing for them each day.
Grammie and I headed to the pediatrician's office for Caleb's one week check up.  I was anxious to see Caleb's weight gain as he has been super sleepy during his feedings.
Caleb got a great report- he is already back up to his birth weight in only one week!  He had dropped down to 7 lbs 9 oz at discharge from the hospital.  Dr. Gilbert was very pleased with his growth and was encouraging that we are doing just what we need to do.
We love our pediatrician- Dr. Stacey Gilbert, who takes care of all my boys!
Thankfully, there were no shots at this visit, but C will get one shot at the one month check up.
One week stats: 7 lbs 15oz and 21 1/2 inches long
