On the front porch:
Uncle Tyler came over as well for a visit with us before we headed down to the beach. We love our Uncle Tyler! Can you tell the babies apart in this photo? Logan is starting to lose his "crazy hair" and Will is starting to grow some. It's getting harder to tell them apart, especially in photos.
Monday morning we loaded up and headed south! Florida here we come... and 6 1/2 hours later we arrived, along with the rain! I mean lots of rain- it didn't stop until Friday! We couldn't believe it, a noreaster blew in and didn't want to leave. It looked like a hurricane outside. But despite the bad weather, we had a great time.
My BFF from the sixth grade and her family were also in Ponte Vedra for a wedding, so they stayed an extra day to hang out with us. It was such a sweet time because we got to meet each other's babies for the first time. Sarah and Jeff had Cole about a month after our boys. We had such fun being pregnant at the same time and sharing all the newness of motherhood. The boys hit it off and are sure to be buddies just like their mommas!
Will, Cole and Logan
We got lots of rest, ate delicious food that daddy made and had a wonderful time together just the four of us. Thursday night my parents came down to stay with us through the weekend. The main event of the trip was my cousin, Julie's wedding. We had a great time introducing the babies to all the family that were there. They even behaved so well during the ceremony and reception Saturday. It was such a joy to celebrate with Julie and Sonny! As many of you know, Julie lost her first husband Ben to cancer and Sonny lost his wife Renee to cancer as well. The Lord was so good to bring these two together and bring love and joy to their lives once again. It was a sweet time of celebration.

The Happy Couple
The weather finally cleared up over the weekend and we had three days of sunshine! We took the boys to the beach and they loved napping in their sun tent. They had their very own live ocean sound machine and breeze. We took them to the pool once the sun wasn't so strong and they seemed to like being in the water, even though it was a little cool. We had a great time and hated to leave on Tuesday. Back to the real world- well rested and with lots of good memories. See more photos in the Ponte Vedra Vacation Album.
