My sweet babies are getting so big! Oh wait, I say that every month- but it's true. We've been busy busy lately with all the holiday festivities and travelling to be with our families for Thanksgiving. The ten month mark almost got lost in the shuffle. We're loving every minute of this active stage. The boys do not miss a thing and therefore keep me very much on my toes. We spend a LOT of time together lately as I can't leave them for a minute (unless they're contained!) The baby gates are my best friends these days.
Will and Logan-
I can't believe you are so big. You have become little guys right before my eyes! This year has absolutely flown by despite all my efforts to soak up every minute. We have so much fun together playing and laughing. You love to be on the move, crawling everywhere, pulling up and cruising with ease on our furniture. Logan, you have been letting go and standing all by yourself (very briefly). Will, you are always laughing at me and daddy and love to play come and get me. You guys have a lot of fun together and laugh a lot- it's too cute.
It is fun to see your little personalities develop. Will, you are a snuggle bug and like to crawl and grab onto mommy when you are tired or don't feel well. Logan, you tend to be the taker of toys, while Will is mostly laid back about it. You have both been known to take toys away and then crawl away or chase each other for a toy- too funny! We are still working on "no" and "don't take his toy" and also "don't bite your brother!" You are both such happy babies- we are so thankful for your easy going dispositions.
Some favorite/not so favorite things from this month:
Trying all kinds of finger foods and table foods
Playing patty-cake and clapping
Blowing raspberries (not so fun when there is a mouth full of food)
Making and repeating more sounds-ga-ga, ka, ba-bva and sometimes ma and da
Will is starting to sign a version of "more" at the table
Logan says "ki" when around Britches (our cat)
Bouncing to music
Loving cheerios and graham crackers
Loving cheerios and graham crackers
Throwing things from the highchair
Pointing and picking up items with index finger and thumb
You both love listening to daddy play the guitar
You like to look out the living room window to see outside
Still chewing on everything- toys, furniture, books, each other!
We took you to Chattanooga for your first Thanksgiving to see both sides of mommy's family. You got to see all your great aunts, uncles and great grandmothers. We also got to visit with Pappy and Nana at the hospital and stay with Grammie and Pops. You did so well despite all the moving around we did. We loved spending this Thanksgiving together as a family and are so thankful for two healthy, sweet babies! We love you so much- Mommy and Daddy
