A Fun Week

Everyone is finally well at our house and we are back to the land of the living- hooray! It is no fun having two sick little ones and a sick mommy too. We had to get creative being stuck inside A LOT! It was so nice for the boys to be back at MDO this week and also to get to do some fun outings.

We took to boys to the Birmingham Zoo Thursday morning for the first time. They loved seeing all the animals and running around exploring with their cousin Graham. It was a nice treat to have Andrew and their Nana come and spend the morning with us. We saw zebras, giraffes, lions, monkeys, birds, rhinos, flamingos and took a train ride around the zoo! The boys were soaking it all up. It was too cute to watch them as they looked at the animals with wonder in their eyes. They were pooped out after our fun morning!

This morning we met up with our friends Michelle and Emmie to play at an indoor playroom. The boys and Emmie had a blast climbing on the mats, sliding and scooting through the tunnels. Emmie is the boys' first little friend- they met when they were only weeks old and their birthdays are three days apart. It is fun watching them play together and interact more now that they are older. We are thankful for our sweet friends!

We have a lot to be thankful for as we prepare for the upcoming holiday. November is a special time to prepare our hearts and be reminded of the abundant blessings we all have. Even in the midst of difficult situations, I am reminded of God's goodness and faithful provision. We are looking forward to celebrating and spending time with our families next week!
