The LORD your God is with you, he is mighty to save. He will take great delight in you, he will quiet you with his love, he will rejoice over you with singing. Zephaniah 3:17

To GiGi's House We Go...

We took the boys on their first plane ride to see our extended Pennsylvania family! They were so excited about the plane and so many new things to see. After a rough start with an unexpected two hour delay, we were off and had a great trip. The boys did surprisingly well (for two year-olds!) on the plane- thanks to lots of snacks and well packed backpacks!

We were so excited to land and see all the snow- about twelve inches of beautiful white stuff! We couldn't wait to get to GiGi's house (Andrew's grandmother). The boys were so sweet with their GiGi, who they haven't seen since they were four months old.

We had many visitors during our trip- aunts, uncles and cousins all came to see us and bless us with yummy food and good company. Below, all the girls hanging out at GiGi's after dinner: Will and I, Dorene and Logan, Nana, Aunt Patty, Kelly and Aunt Donna
Four generations- what a sweet legacy GiGi has given us!
With cousins Brian and Dorene (and baby Powell on the way!)
Andrew with his mom and Aunt Patty (Janet's sister)
With cousin Haley after playing in the snow!
Icicles yummy!
Playing in the snow at Aunt Patty and Uncle Rob's house
My snow babies!

Mommy is thinking "I can't wait to crawl under that electric blanket at GiGi's with a cup of warm tea!"
Will fell asleep on the sled while being pulled back to the house- sledding is hard work!
With Bev- Andrew's Step-Grandmother
Climbing on the train in Scheneley- Andrew's Grandpap used to help do tours in the summers

Now that we've done the trip and seen that we actually CAN do it with two toddlers- we look forward to visiting again soon! Our time there was quick but sweet and we are so thankful to have had the opportunity to go. We were reminded of the love that we have for each other even though busy lives and many miles separate us! Maybe next time we'll go when it's warm so icy planes won't delay us. Thanks GiGi for hosting us and all the help from Nana too!
