Tuesday was one week that our babies have been in our lives. It's hard to believe how fast the days go by and yet it feels like they have always been a part of our family. It's hard to imagine life without them. Here I go being sentimental again, but what a joy to have these little babies here. We've been very busy working out a schedule with nursing, sleeping and let's not forget lots of diaper changes! This week my parents have been here to help and it has been such a blessing. They have been cooking, cleaning, helping give bottles and pretty much anything else we have needed. We're very fortunate to have two sets of parents eager to share the rotation and help us out as we transition to life as a family of four.
To Will and Logan- My sweet babies, I already love you so much. You both have such sweet dispositions (in your brief moments of wakefulness.) You have allowed mommy and daddy to get much needed rest in between your feedings which are every three hours. We even have to set our alarm to wake you both when it's time to eat. You make the sweetest little noises, grunting and squeaking to let us know you're here. You both only cry when we wake you up to eat and it takes more than a couple of minutes to change your diaper. Logan you have a full head of fine dark hair, like your daddy's when he was a baby. Will's hair is a little lighter and less fuzzy. You both enjoy your sponge bath time and stretching out when we change your clothes. You are both good snugglers and occasionally give us a brief smile when you're dreaming. Can you tell we are in awe of you? God has been so good to give us both of you. Your mommy is overwhelmed by the awesome gift of being able to love not one but two babies. We pray for you daily, that we would be Godly parents and raise you in a loving home. We love being your parents and look forward to all the days ahead. Love, Mommy and Daddy
