The boys are three months old today! My sweet, smiley babies are the light of my life and bring us so much joy. We are still striving for a full night's sleep and are generally tired most of the time. But each day with them is a reminder of the huge blessing we've been given.
Will and Logan,
We couldn't love you more. Each day I think I love you more than the one before. You both love looking and interacting with mommy and daddy. You are each finding your voices and making sweet cooing sounds when you smile. Sometimes you both smile so much that you get distracted while eating and just want to look up at me and smile. Will started having a pouty face this week, sticking out that lower lip. It's too cute! Logan has become the better napper, at least for this week. We have a fun bedtime routine, eat, play on the play mat or on a blanket outside, then bath time! You have fun soaking in the big tub together and splashing your feet (with mom's help). We decided it was time to let you bathe together because one of you would start crying while waiting for the other to finish.
You still have such happy mornings and send daddy off to work with big smiles on your faces. We enjoy our morning moments with you both in our bed. During the day, it has been a challenge to keep you both in the tummy time position, as you quickly roll right onto your back. You play independently on your play mat and seem to be looking more at each other. Your little arms sometimes get caught up as if you are linked together and your little hands grasp one another's. Sometimes, when you're hungry we catch you sucking on the other's arm, hand or even head (whichever is closest to your mouth!)
I'm not sure if you're technically sleeping through the night yet. It's different every night, but you mostly sleep around 6 hours at a time, sometimes more, sometimes less. We are happy with every hour you give us. Usually one of you is sound asleep while the other is crying and hungry. So that means we have to wake the sleepy one so you can be on the same schedule. During the day you seem to be ready to eat at the same time mostly.
We love every minute with you (well, maybe not the ones where you are screaming!) You make us so happy and we love being your parents. We pray that you will continue to be strong and healthy little boys and that you will become who God created you to be.
Love, Mommy and Daddy

Awe, super cute - they are getting big!!! Love ya!
I laughed right out loud when you talked about how they sucked eachothers hands, arms, elbows. I can just picture that! You'll be so glad you've journaled all these moments as you quickly forget the newborn stages of life.
Happy 3 months to Logan and Will.
