Girl Time

This past weekend, one of my oldest friends came to visit and meet the boys. Amy Collett and I have been "BFFs" since the seventh grade. In the past couple of years we have tried to get together once a year for a girls' trip. The first year we went to Maine, the second to Texas. Let's just say our "trip" was a little different this year! Missing from the trip this year was Sarah Johnson, who lives in Texas with her hubbie and new baby Cole. She was greatly missed! Amy drove over Friday after work for some good old girl time and catching up. We enjoyed getting caught up on the day to day, and going down memory lane. Amy even brought an album of photos from middle and high school for us to laugh over.

The boys loved meeting "auntie" Amy and initiated her in the task of double feeding! Saturday we enjoyed some time to ourselves at the mall. Andrew took the boys to hang out with their cousins and Nana and Pappy. It was so nice to get out for a couple of hours and do some retail therapy. We found the cutest outfits for the boys and Amy helped me pick out some things for our upcoming beach trip. The boys are going to be super cute in their new beach outfits! Amy- thanks for making the trip over and taking time away from your family to be with us. We had a great time and love you bunches!
